Circle F Dude Ranch is staffed with mature counselors who typically represent over 25 different colleges and universities and from several foreign countries as well. They are selected for their enthusiasm, caring attitudes and ability to create an atmosphere of positive leadership, appropriate values, innovative programs and activities, appreciation for our natural environment, respect for each member of the camp community, a diligent work ethic and an appreciation for the history and future of Circle F Dude Ranch Camp as one of “America’s Finest Summer Camps” since 1952.

Requirments: Counselors must be at least 18 years of age and have completed one year of college studies. All counselors must pass a background check and go through an extensive counselor training.

We are currently hiring:
- Waterfront (sailing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, banana boat, blob)
- Paintball
- Nature Lore (survival skills, environmental eduction)
- Arts and Crafts
- Dance, Tumbling, Cheerleading
- Creative Improve
- Photography/Videography

OPPORTUNITIES

Counselors - All counselors teach an activity and act as a bunk counselor. Counselors will possess maturity, creativity, enthusiasm, superb judgment, warmth and concern for each child for whom he or she is responsible, as well as for the rest of the camp community. All counselors are at least 18 years of age with one year of college behind them. The average age of counselors is between 19-23 years old.

Department Head - On top of their regular counselor duties, Department Heads will possess specific skills, experiences and qualities to develop and run programming to camp standards, supervise all staff in their activity area, communicate with parents when needed and ensure that all safety guidelines and camp policies are met. Head counselor is an administrative position.

Head counselor responsibilities include supervision of all counselors, campers, programming, administration, management, communication with parents and mediating disputes of campers and staff. Head counselors possess specific skills, experience, credentials and qualities deemed appropriate by the Circle F Dude Ranch Camp Directors.
